History boys...
Angel Underground originally started in the late 70's, early 1980s, evolving from Saffron Walden based rock/punk band "Marjory Razorblade".
The original line up was:
Amory - voice
Advian - Guitars
Razor - Bass
Dave Dodman - Drums.
The band splintered in 1983 and Advian & Razor formed "Forgotten Heroes" with Singer Gary Duke and Drummer Simon Hunter. Later they were joined on vocals by Andy "Rem" Start. A couple of years later, Advian left to chase a career with bands such as "Love Like Blood", "Actifed" and "Pedro Orange" amongst others. He has also previously worked with"Christian Death". Bassist Razor hooked up with Walden based "Blind Mice" and stayed with them until they disbanded in the late 1990's, releasing 3 singles and and LP during their life. Drummer Dave Dodman, Advian and Amory also played together in "Big Inky".
In 2008, The original Angel Underground line-up reformed for a one-off gig. However, the band expressed a wish to work together again and were joined by drummer Henry in early 2010 but they also play with drummer Mark Bargin.
